Naruto is a manga created by Kishimoto Masashi. It's been running in the Weekly Jump magazine since 1999, and currently has 29 volumes and counting released, with more to come. The story revolves around a young boy named Naruto, who had the Nine-Tails demon sealed inside him at birth. He's currently a ninja in training with a goal of becoming Hokage- the leader of Leaf Village. Along the way we're introduced to characters like Kakashi, Iruka, Sakura, Sasuke, and so on. All of which have their own distinct personalities and roles to play. More recently, in October of 2002, the Naruto anime series debuted in Japan. It follows the manga almost perfectly, with minor alterations. The first Naruto movie came out August 21st, 2004, and the second is scheduled for release on August 6th, 2005.

It's an incredible series, everyone should go pick up all of the released manga volumes and DVDs.. now.
