When you first are introduced to Sakura it's revealed that Naruto has quite a crush on her, but, she has even more of a crush on Sasuke. Immediately it appears Sakura will be the usual love interest and the highly used love triangle will be played out. When you start to see her in action though, it becomes quite apparent it won't exactly turn out that way. Sakura is of course the girl of the trio, and she gets to play out that role very well. Her main concern tends to be how she can gain Sasuke's attention and love. Though, at the same time she's not soft, shy, and off in her own little world, like a lot of romance oriented female characters are. She's brash, loud, and speaks her mind when she pleases. You get to see that she has a backbone, she's 'fiesty'. Sakura continues to have these 2 sides to her through out the manga, and it makes her character quite realistic. She also has a rad habit of screaming out "Hell Yeah!" :D
